Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Othello depicts the theme of racism and prejudice in Act I.

In the first paragraph, introduce your thesis statement where you state that Shakespeare in actuality introduces the theme of racism and prejudice early in the play. Then, list three main points that support/explain this statement.

In the three body paragraphs, explain how each main point supports the statement that Shakespeare’s play depicts racism and prejudice. Give examples of the characters that face racism and prejudice directly and indirectly.

In the conclusion, summarize the thesis and the main points you have already talked about in the essay.
