Duties

As your patient enters the lab they look up at you and ask “who are all these people?” Briefly explain who is in the room and what the responsibilities are of the staff who will assist the physician. You have just a few minutes so be brief and concise. However, you can see the patients’ anxiety increase. Remember that you must build the patients’ confidence. Write a script describing what will happen in the next few minutes as they are prepared for the procedure.
