Plagiarism

Our first paper, the summary, will be over the topic of plagiarism and is only required to be 1 and 1/2 page minimum plus works cited page. You may choose a section in the textbook over plagiarism, use one of the articles I provide as possible options, or research and select an article of your own – as long as it relates to plagiarism in some manner and the article has page numbers. If selecting your own article, you will want to choose an article that is over 3 pages as a summary is 1/3rd or less of the original article. The important thing to remember on this summary is you must follow academic writing rules, use MLA formatting, and use your signal phrases and intext citations throughout to avoid plagiarism. If you are not familiar with these terms, you will find a lot of information over the next couple of weeks in folders, PPts, and other methods to help you achieve sucess on the paper.
