Select three major educational thinkers and critique their impact with particular reference to understanding the learner developmentally. Explain how this critique might inform your own teaching. Engage with actual schools where you can see the influence of their thinking being outworked. Consider their artefacts / educational liturgies (e.g. school Mission and code of ethics, and other related documents) and how aligned these are between what has been written and what is practised. In this context, consider the influence of educational thinkers who have shaped the Australian school system, as represented through the APST and national and state curriculum documents.
